Product Overview:
Design and Build: The Nokia 3310 stands at 115.6mm tall, 51mm wide, and is 12.8 mm. It has the same build as the old 3310. On its front is a 2.4-inch screen, a menu button with directions around it, call and end call buttons on the left and right side of the menu button. Below these is a keypad, the old type (I do not know how it is called, it has a name though) with numbers 1 to 9 and letters on each.
The number keys are well spaced so wrong presses shouldn't be expected with the 3310. On its backside is a 2MP camera and a flash right beside it and on the top right is a speaker. Nokia's brand is on its front side. How the keypad and the function buttons are separated makes the 3310 looks nice as will be seen on the link attached at the end of this review. The Nokia3310 is a glossy or matte phone depending on the color you want.
Display: It has 2.4 inches with a 30.3% screen-to-body ratio. It is a TFT screen with 240 x 320 pixels (167 PPI pixel density) resolution. It is visible in whatever conditions and looks good. A colored screen of course. The 3310 runs Nokia Series 30+Â OS which is simple and basic.
Memory: The 3310 comes with 16MB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB with an SD card.
Camera: A 2MP camera is on the back of the Nokia 3310. It is 2MP, not 20 so you should know what to expect. If anything, you aren't buying the 3310 for its camera, no? It also shoots videos and has an LED flash.
Sound: 3310 supports mp3 and vibration alerts, loudspeakers and has what smartphones are slowly doing away with, a 3.5mm jack.
Connectivity and Network: The Nokia 3310 supports Bluetooth 3.0, has an FM radio, and comes with a micro USB 2.0. Network: well the 3310 only supports GSM (EDGE and GPRS) for light browsing with the pre-installed opera mini browser. You can get either a single or dual SIM version of the 3310.
Battery: The 3310's 1200mAh battery will surely last you 5-7 days at most. Well, how fast the Nokia 3310 will get off the shelves depends wholly on what the market thinks about it. But, if I were to recommend I would to folks who want a throwback of the 3310 or just a phone that you will want to have with you when visiting places where a long-lasting charge and basic tools like a torch and an FM radio may be needed.
